Today...

This handbag is NOT a dishtowel handbag. The outside is silk. The back has an additional 2 pockets - one for a cell. This was lots of work!

Paper or Plastic? Go Green!

Paper or Plastic? How about neither. It takes as much petroleum to make 14 plastic bags as it does to drive a car one mile.

I have LOTS to choose from. ONE, TWO, THREE, SIX or a DOZEN!

I’ve been using these reusable bags lately. I am so happy at the response to them! Better than that, I’ve seen family and friends use them. It just takes a little at a time to get in the habit of recycling.

Keep a bunch in your car and one rolled in your purse. It’s all about making a difference one small step at a time. It’s not so hard being green!

*reinforced bottom corners
*stitch tucked at each handle
*raw edges, they do not fray, great EARTHY, URBAN look and roll up so EASY!

One (1) for $5 Ships for $1.75 First Class
Two (2) for $9 Ships for $3.50 First Class
Three (3) for $12 Ships for $5.30 Priority
SIX PACK (6) for $24 Ships for $6.60
Dozen (12) for $48 Ships for $9.30 Priority Flat Rate Box

Limitless uses include but not limited too:

Grocery Bag, Lunch Bag, Tote, Laundry Bag, Shoe Bag, Gift Bag (I wrapped all my holiday gifts in these!), Uniform Change Bag, Craft Bag, Yarn Bag, Great for drug store quick shop bag (keep in purse), Carry your Craft Show wares to shows…

This is blurry - was taken from my cell. I've made more GREEN shopping bags from T-shirts!
I hope to sell more at the Farmer's Market.

This shows my days work. Seven handbags total. That was besides finishing all my Halloween dishtowels!
These three are the same, but different - if you look at the embellishments. The one on the right is sold.
This is my FISHPURSE. I don't know why, but when I say that, I laugh! FISHPURSE! I wish I knew where some fishing stuff was, so I could hang lures from the embellishment.

A new green one and two more orange... the one on the right is sold.

Three More Purses... what's new?

This cute purse is to be given away in my monthly drawing.
This is my latest "Little Princess" handbag. I'd think about giving it to Joscelyn, but she likes a purse one time, then throws it into the toybox, and hauls around some ugly skaggy purse instead.

This BLUE handbag is SOLD! These twins are the newest addition to The Gluten Gal collection - Larraine's Handbags. I am currently trying to decided which purse might be in my monthly free drawing. Joscelyn likes these two, plus a yellow one further down in a post that's similar, but yellow. Hope you've enjoyed browsing... I am HAPPY to say that I got PAID today for three handbags! That means these are going... going... and you'd better hurry to pick out your favorite, since I'll be hauling them to the Farmer's Market at the Utah Botanical Center this Thursday night. I'd sure love to have you stop by! Check out this link to the market!

One More!

I see I missed this one!

Today's Fun

Today I found out about the farmer's market held every Thursday at Utah Botanical Center - just about 5 miles from me. Thanks to some help from my big sis, I dedided to go for it! We'll go tomorrow and find out what it's like, and then I'll plan the next few weeks.

These (up) little aprons are like the one Joscelyn took over, and she wants these too!
I made two more sets of "Mommy & Me" apron sets to sell.

This patriotic handbag is SOLD! And here's a few more purses. Do you like my random picture posting on here? Well, it's really for me, so I can remember them when they're gone! These purses have been SO MUCH FUN making!

Seven Purses from my Late Night

I feel like a kid in a candy store, with so many
dishtowels, handles and embellishments!
This greenish blue striped handbag is SOLD!

This "Little Princess" purple/pink/blue handbag is SOLD!

I KNEW Joscelyn would have to have this purse! She started out with a green one that she demanded, in a very princessy way. She took her green purse to Wal-Mart one night and kept asking me, “Do people think I look cool?” but hasn’t used the green purse since. When she saw me putting these dishtowels and embellishment together, my little princess demanded I give her the new one! I told her she’d have to sell her green one. She ran to her toy box, found the purse and dumped it upside down, shaking all of her items out of the purse and pockets. She’s loving her new purple & pink one! (She’s also wearing her dollar store “princess dress,” that she’s worn every day since I bought it!)
